2013 Race to End World Hunger 5K/10K, Palo Alto Baylands

Race Day registration (01/01/2012) will be available for the seventh annual Race to End World Hunger on New Year's Day. Phenomenal weather is forecast for the race, sunny, cool, and, most important of all, a 0% chance of rain. There will be a 10K run (9:30 AM) and 5K run/walk (9:45 AM). Both scenic courses have spectacular views of the bay and are dead flat, run mostly through the marsh lands on a mix of levee trails, dirt and paved roads. Each race starts and ends at the Baylands Athletic Center in Palo Alto. The funds raised from this event will support the education of young women in Africa and Pakistan, microfinance and the Second Harvest Food Bank locally. Opportunities for Friends and Family: All races depend on volunteers, lots of them. • Race day registration will be available from 8:00 AM on New Year's Day, Tuesday, January, 1, at the Baylands Athletic Center in Palo Alto .
  Online registration has closed.
• Bib and tee shirt pickup for prior online registrations will also be on race day at the Baylands Athletic Center...from 8:00 AM.
